Facilities Maintenance Technician Red Bank Veterinary Hospital (RBVH) proudly opened its new, state-of-the-art facility in May 2024—an expansive, 100,000+ square foot space nearly twice the size of our original Tinton Falls location. This milestone marks the continuation of over 40 years of dedicated service to our community. Equipped with advanced diagnostics like MRI, CT, fluoroscopy, and a PET scanner, the hospital features 52 exam rooms, 12 surgical suites, a dedicated emergency department, and expanded training spaces. Thoughtful amenities—including feline-only waiting areas, a rehab unit, comfort rooms, and a serene zen garden—reflect our commitment to exceptional care for pets and their families. We are seeking a mid-level Facilities Maintenance Technician to support the Facilities Manager/Supervisor in maintaining mechanical systems and overall property operations. Position Overview: The Facilities Maintenance Technician is a mid-level position working under the supervision of the site Facilities Manager/Supervisor. Duties involve assisting in maintaining all mechanical systems as well as the general maintenance of the commercial property. In this role you will assist in the daily maintenance scheduling and task completion of the above along with light driving duties as needed in combination with the Facilities Manager/Supervisor. You are expected to function daily with minimal supervision in performing service tasks. You are also responsible for inspecting the premises and reporting issues directly to your supervisor. Due to the sensitivity of supporting a medical facility, some work must be scheduled for "off hours" to avoid interrupting medical staff, patients, and the workflow. Medical and client needs always take priority over maintenance work. Maintenance team members are also "on call" to respond to any building emergency issues should they arise.
