Requirements

  • Experience: 1-2 years in facilities maintenance or a related field is preferred.
  • Skills: Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, drywall, and more.
  • Physical Ability: Comfortable working outdoors, climbing stairs, and lifting heavy items.
  • Flexibility: Available to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Team Player: Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Customer-Focused: Strong communication and attention to detail are a must.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

  • License: HVAC certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support for extended facility operations by managing additional equipment responsibilities, including maintenance and oversight of two or more air handler rooms, boiler systems, and compressors to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Performing a variety of maintenance tasks, including painting, plumbing, drywall, electrical, refrigeration, carpentry, and custodial work.
  • Conducting preventative maintenance and coordinating with team members for repairs.
  • Recording and completing work orders according to company policy.
  • Performing basic electrical work (e.g., replacing outlets, fixtures, and resetting breakers).
  • Tackling plumbing tasks, such as repairing or replacing fixtures, unclogging drains, and replacing pipes.
  • Maintaining the facility’s grounds and assisting with custodial tasks as needed.
  • Collaborating with contractors and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.
  • Prioritizing and responding to maintenance requests.
