Facilities Maintenance Technician
About The Position
Excellent Opportunity in the Public Works Department - Full Time - 7 am to 3:30 pm, Mon thru Fri Differences between the I and II positions: I must possess a valid Master / Journeyman Electrician's License Skilled electrical and general maintenance and repair work. Duties involve the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical equipment as well as the installation, repair and maintenance of plumbing and heating systems, masonry, roofing, and other building and facilities components and services. The occupant of this position works with minimal supervision and has limited contact with the general public, contractors, and businesses.
Requirements
- Two (2) Years of VoTech School in electrical trade, HS Diploma
- Four (4) Years increasingly responsible experience in electrical equipment maintenance and repair including electrical motors, controls, and services.
- Two (2) Years of increasingly responsible experience in plumbing, mechanical, and carpentry trades.
- Must have Valid PA Driver's License
- Valid Master/Journeyman Electrician's License (Technician I)
