Summary Provides general facility management tasks to include inspection, testing, repair, and maintenance of buildings, grounds and equipment.

  • Performs minor maintenance of plumbing, electrical, mechanical equipment, systems, structures and other general maintenance.
  • Performs preventive maintenance tasks as assigned.
  • Responds to trouble calls, work requests and emergency situations.
  • Assists department colleagues of all trades.
  • Utilizes the CMMS work order system and documents time and work completed in a timely manner.
  • High School Diploma/GED with required years of experience or Technical School Diploma in a specific trade such as electrical, plumbing, or HVAC
  • 3 years experience in a related trade or Less than 1 year with Technical School Diploma
  • Ability to perform trade skills typically associated with plumbing, electrical, and mechanical operations as well as carpentry and other general maintenance.
  • Ability to read circuitry, wiring diagrams, schematics, and operations of mechanical systems.
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings and blueprints.
  • Ability to read, understand, and apply codes and standards enforced by local, state, and federal regulatory agencies.
  • Computer skills to include computerized maintenance systems, building automation, email, education.
  • DL - Driver's License_PA - State of Pennsylvania
  • Associate’s Degree
  • 2 years Healthcare facility maintenance and repair.
  • Knowledge of how to work in a healthcare environment related to risk such as infection control, general and life safety, and patient satisfaction.
