This role is responsible for ensuring that building infrastructure, utilities, and environmental controls operate reliably while maintaining compliance with cleanroom standards, safety requirements, and company procedures.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facility systems, including HVAC, air handling units, HEPA filters, chilled water, compressed air, vacuum, and process gas systems.
Support cleanroom environmental controls, including pressure differentials, temperature, humidity, and particle monitoring.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
Maintain and update maintenance records, logs, and documentation in accordance with ISO, GMP, and company policies.
Follow all cleanroom contamination control procedures, including proper gowning, sanitization, and cleaning protocols.
Respond to facility alarms, excursions, and emergency situations, ensuring systems return to operational standards quickly.
Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Production teams to support cleanroom operations and continuous improvement.
Assist in equipment installations, qualifications, and calibrations as required.
Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and company EHS (Environmental Health & Safety) programs. Other duties as assigned.
At least 3 years of experience in Facilities Technician or equivalent related functions
Strong knowledge of HVAC, filtration systems, and building utilities.
Basic understanding of electrical and control systems.
Ability to follow SOPs and detailed maintenance procedures.
Proficiency in using hand tools, test instruments, and maintenance equipment.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
Excellent attention to detail, with strong written and verbal
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade school certification preferred.
Familiarity with ISO 14644 cleanroom classifications and GMP regulations (preferred).
2+ years of experience in facilities maintenance, HVAC, or cleanroom environment (manufacturing, pharma, biotech, or semiconductor experience preferred).
Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS) and preventive maintenance programs a plus.
OSHA safety training (Lockout/Tagout, confined space, PPE) preferred.
