About The Position

Under minimal supervision, the Facilities Maintenance Technician III performs installation, repair and maintenance of building and plant electroâ mechanical equipment including but not limited to water, compressed air, hydraulic, air conditioning and refrigeration systems. Demonstrates behavior that is consistent with the company’s values of Customer Satisfaction, Innovation, Family, and Social Responsibility. Essential Job Functions/Tasks: Helps engineer, design, perform installation and repair plant process and utility services. Performs journeyman level skills in at least one of the following: compressed air, electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, and plumbing systems utilized. Troubleshoots and repairs to component level all electroâ mechanical equipment. Performs scheduled preventative maintenance and service on assigned equipment. Records work performed and other information for equipment history. Orders repair parts and materials as needed. Provides technical assistance and training to support technicians.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of trade school or equivalent experience.
  • 5 years of progressive facility maintenance experience with knowledge of building, plumbing, NGC, local codes and plant systems.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematic diagrams, and technical data sheets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and the ability to interact with members across the organization.
  • Strong leadership skills to provide technical assistance and training to support all technicians.
  • Able to purchase own tools and electrical troubleâ shooting equipment as required.
  • Able to work varying shifts.
  • Able to perform journeyman level skills in the electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing or demonstrate strong general skills in all these areas.
  • Strong attention to detail, time management and organizational skills.
  • Valid driver's license and sufficient driving record to meet requirement to be insured by company.
  • Able to work overtime as required.
