Requirements

  • Computer skills (basic computer knowledge).
  • Knowledge of electrical systems including 110-480V systems, AC & DC control systems, installing, troubleshooting and repair.
  • Working knowledge of hydraulic, plumbing, and pneumatic systems.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints.
  • Knowledge of plant mechanical processes sufficient to analyze performance trends and recommend and initiate corrective actions to improve process performance.

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of PLC controls.
  • Knowledge of refrigeration systems, with ammonia.
  • Welding-TIG, MIG, Stick, etc. Stainless / Sanitary equipment experience.
  • Forklift and pallet-jack certification.

Responsibilities

  • Perform and/or oversee preventive maintenance on equipment.
  • Complete daily Preventative Maintenance (PM) work orders, scheduled repair work orders, unscheduled emergency repairs, and project work associated with the operation of a production and warehouse facility.
  • Ability to plan, organize and coordinate daily activities.
  • Ability to maximize productivity and minimize waste.
  • Willingness to work in a safe manner and promote a safe working environment.
  • Perform all needed maintenance functions in support of Total Preventive Maintenance (TPM) initiative and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) programs.
  • Perform emergency repairs as needed.
  • Perform preventative maintenance task as scheduled.
  • Participate in continuous improvement process.
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of maintenance and product support areas.
