About The Position

Overview Responsible for executing maintenance, including: diagnosing problems and making repairs in order to maintain the physical condition of the property according to operating and safety standards and to ensure that service requests and repairs are made in a timely manner. Safety and Environmental Performance Lead the safety effort by personal example Support full hotel compliance with safety rules to further our goal of zero (0) accidents and encouragement of reporting and correcting near misses Adhere to SOPs and other work procedures as required to assure guest satisfaction and consistencies to our customers Immediately report all injuries to the supervisor or manager on duty and to the security manager on duty Work Requirements Responsible for performing highly diversified duties like install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain utilities, production and facility equipment in accordance with the site safety principles, predictive, and production maintenance systems and processes in order to achieve the site's business goals and objectives. Perform building maintenance tasks in one or more fields (e.g. carpentry; electrical, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, etc). Perform general cleaning. General knowledge of good engineering practices for regulated facilities. Perform highly diversified duties such as: install and maintain production equipment, utilities, and facility equipment. Provide support of emergency, unscheduled repairs for production and utilities equipment. Perform a variety of mechanical, electrical, plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions. Diagnose problems, replace, or repair parts, test and adjust. Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties. Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas. Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High School or equivalent preferred
  • 1-3 years of related experience preferred
  • General knowledge of plumbing, electric, and/or HVAC preferred
  • One to two years of vocational/technical training or an Associate's degree preferred
  • Ability to occasionally operate general office equipment such as, but not limited to, personal computer, telephone, photocopying machine, facsimile machine and postage machine
  • Ability to frequently use general maintenance tools, supplies and equipment such as, but not limited to, hand tools, pressure washers, blowers, paint equipment, pool chemicals, ice removal equipment, ladders, landscaping equipment, sandblasters, and safety equipment
  • Ability to frequently handle and use chemicals and general cleaning supplies
  • Ability to frequently transport up to 60 pounds variable distances, the mobility and flexibility to use required equipment and to access and work in restricted spaces or at heights in excess of 8 - 9 feet
  • Ability to frequently operate motorized vehicles such as, but not limited to, a car, truck, or van
