About The Position

The overall purpose of this position is to provide support to the operations of the business by completing facilities maintenance tasks efficiently and accurately. We are seeking a full time associate for this hourly position working Sunday- Thursday 7:30AM to 4PM with additional hours/days needed during peak seasons.

Requirements

Prior facilities maintenance experience preferred
Proficient with basic hand tools
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills
Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Adaptable and open to change
Forklift & WAVE certification, or willingness to obtain

Responsibilities

Routinely clean warehouse and tile flooring by utilizing the necessary equipment and chemicals. Also maintains adequate inventory of supplies needed.
Maintains and cleans the drains of all receiving docks.
Routine cleaning of floors and walls within the Distribution organization.
Assists with painting various locations throughout the building.
Repairs minor floor defects.
Routinely conducts visual inspections of all equipment within the department or warehouse.
Inspects and replaces light bulbs throughout the building.
Conducts Inspection Checklists for all Fire Extinguishers and Exit Lights.
Utilize various pieces of equipment, including forklift, WAVE machine, etc.
Routinely conducts visual inspections of offices and ceilings for damaged or stained ceiling tiles, non-working light fixtures/bulbs and replace as needed.
