Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required. Preferably in engineering, business, operations management, or similar field
  • Ability to think quickly, take initiative, think creatively and challenge team to do the same
  • Possess strong skills in project management
  • Proven ability to work in a results-oriented, dynamic environment
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to get results through mentoring others
  • This position is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Safe driving record strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • The Facility Maintenance Supply Chain Leader leads the facility (Buildings and Grounds) maintenance department consisting of a team of mechanics and wastewater operators.
  • They are responsible for people and team development, motivating the team and ensuring quality performance, and compliance in Food safety and Pep+ sustainability initiatives.
  • This role is essential to the long-term reliability of the manufacturing plant and performance is critical to the success of plant safety, food safety, environmental compliance, and downtime performance across all departments.
  • Responsibilities include cost efficiency, performance tracking, continuous improvement on processes, service, and safety for an entire business unit across all shifts.
  • Responsibilities include achieving site performance for uptime, equipment reliability, overall equipment effectiveness, and building/grounds maintenance.
  • This role will also coach team members to utilize the processes and facilitate problem solving on the floor.
  • Ensure that mechanics within the business unit are developed and held accountable for achieving individual, team, and business unit goals
  • Solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals in downtime and utility performance
  • Developing, implementing, & leading the plant facilities strategy to include food safety, personal safety, environmental compliance, utility reduction, and CAPEX
  • Developing, implementing, & leading FLNA food safety initiatives within the plant
  • Deliver effective change leadership while driving business changes and minimizing people impact
  • Builds people capability through effective employee relations, hiring, training, and communication for front-line hourly and salaried personnel
  • Communicate and collaborate cross-functionally to assist team to solve operational issues
  • Work closely with suppliers and internal customers to deliver expected results
  • Conduct presentations and formal training programs
  • This role requires regular presence on the plant floor and may require occasional work in poor weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, or snow
  • This role may require off-shift and weekend work

Benefits

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $76,400 - $127,850.
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 10% of annual salary paid out annually.
  • Paid time off in accordance with policy is subject to eligibility and includes vacation, holiday, sick, bereavement and parental leave.
  • Vacation: for eligible full-time employees, a minimum of 15 paid vacation days.
  • Holidays: for eligible full-time employees, the company provides 10 paid holidays annually.
  • Sick Leave: for eligible full- time employees, 10 days (80 hours) of paid sick leave benefits are available for absences related to non-job-related injury. Sick leave benefit will be accrued during your first year at 1 day for each month worked in that calendar year.
  • Bereavement Leave: In the event of a death of an immediate family member, full-time and part-time regular employees are eligible to receive up to three (3) consecutive working days with pay.
  • Parental Leave: for eligible employees, the company offers paid parental leave for up to 6 weeks to allow for a time of bonding with their newborn or newly adopted child.
