About The Position

Alaka`ina Foundation A Family of Companies (FOC) is looking for a Facilities Maintenance Branch Supervisor - Public Works supporting our government customer in Kekaha, Hawai'i. This position is responsible for the coordination of operations, maintenance and repair of Buildings and Structures, Potable Water, Wastewater Treatment and Compressed Air Systems. The supervisor provides a variety of services for planning and executing facility improvements at PMRF. Responsibilities include generating preventative (PM) and corrective maintenance (CM) plans and reports for building systems and structures, scheduling and coordinating a workforce to fulfill these plans, monitoring and reviewing personnel performance, and ensuring jobs are properly scheduled, completed on time, and accomplished within budget. The supervisor will also enforce the company's work and safety rules and be on-call for any utility issues (except electrical) that may occur at all hours. Additionally, the role involves developing plans for improvements to facilities and providing technical expertise at management meetings. Physical demands include lifting, pushing or pulling over 50 pounds, and working in varied office conditions, including customer contact and field assignments in inclement weather.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university (equivalent work experience may be substituted).
  • Minimum of five (5) years supervisory experience in a related field.
  • Proficient in the use of personal computers using Microsoft Suite of programs.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Secret Security Clearance Required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the use of Maximo preferred.
  • CDL (desired).

Responsibilities
