About The Position
The Facilities Maintenance Supervisor at Clark Davis Associates is a critical role within a growing company located in Piscataway, New Jersey. This position is responsible for overseeing a team of 2-4 maintenance mechanics in a Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) environment, specifically within the food, pharmaceutical, flavor, and fragrance industries. The supervisor will manage, plan, and execute various facilities and maintenance programs to ensure the smooth operation of the manufacturing facility. This includes performing regular inspections of process, laboratory, and HVAC equipment to maintain compliance with industry standards and regulations. In this role, the supervisor will be tasked with diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues that may arise within the facility. This requires a strong understanding of various systems, including dust collection and vacuum systems, water systems, boilers, refrigeration units, chemical storage tanks, mixers, pumps, process sensors, and building management systems. The supervisor will play a key role in ensuring that all equipment is functioning optimally and that any issues are addressed promptly to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience in a maintenance supervisory role within the food, pharmaceutical, flavor/fragrance, or GMP industry. This experience is essential for understanding the unique challenges and requirements of maintaining equipment in a regulated environment. The Facilities Maintenance Supervisor will also be expected to foster a collaborative and productive work environment, ensuring that all team members are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
