About The Position

The Facilities Maintenance Supervisor will oversee all aspects of facilities maintenance as well as a team of Maintenance Technicians at Tesla's Semi Factory. Plan, supervise, and coordinate operations in Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing departments, including experience with boilers and chillers Lead skilled technical staff in maintenance projects, specializing in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Waste Water Systems, boilers, and chillers Formulate policies, oversee nightly operations, and plan resource use Provide training, mentoring, and career development for shift personnel Tesla people leaders are responsible for a variety of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) assurance functions, including ensuring their teams' safety training is current, documenting EHS incidents, proactively correcting workplace hazards in the areas, and empowering others to continuously improve operations Serve as advisor, incident commander during excursions, and manage on-shift escalations Identify and solve complex problems, review task execution, and communicate detailed work plans

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, work experience in a technical field, or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years of trade experience supporting semiconductor or battery manufacturing facilities
  • Adherence to site protocol for wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Ability to sit, stand, and/or walk for 10+ hours per day
  • Proficiency in computer use, including extended periods at a computer terminal
  • Capability to lift up to 20 lbs.
  • Willingness to obtain OSHA 30 within 3 months of hire and work in diverse environments, including heavy equipment rooms, chemical storage areas, and industrial waste plants
