Under the direction of the Section Manager, Facilities Maintenance, or designee, the Facilities Maintenance Specialist ensures in-house garage personnel perform work in accordance with preventive maintenance books and supervises work done by outside contractors who performs contract maintenance and repairs. Core functions include: Overseeing contracted maintenance and repairs and inspects work by contractors to ensure compliance with scopes of work and repair orders. Processing work orders and reports. Reviewing, scheduling and prioritizing contracted maintenance activities. Inspecting facilities and troubleshooting problems. Ensuring internal maintenance procedures are followed. Performing other duties as assigned.
