Temp Employnet is looking for an experienced Maintenance and repair mechanic Job duties include assisting with facilities related preventative maintenance and repairs, performing preventative maintenance and repairing production equipment/machinery. The ideal candidate should possess: Basic hand tools Fabrication experience (welding, machining, metal fabrication, and/or wood shop) The ability to work with power tools CA Driver’s License The ability to climb ladders, crouch, kneel, lift up to 50LBS, and stand/be on foot for long periods of time A strong understanding of mechanical systems, such as: electrical motors, pneumatics, hydraulics, pumps, air compressors; in an industrial setting The ability to do moderate plumbing, HVAC, drywall install/repairs, painting, and EMT conduit A working understanding 120v/240v single phase electrical service A working understanding of 208/240/480 3 phase electrical service An understanding of electrical components (fuses, sensors, relays, limit switches, etc…) and how to diagnose issues with a multimeter The ability to perform elevated work (ladder and boom lift) Strong communication skills; both written and verbal - BILINGUAL A PLUS Strong troubleshooting/diagnostic skills across a large variety of types of equipment The ability to work overtime/outside of production hours as needed
