About The Position

A Maintenance Technician is responsible for the upkeep of the facility by performing various functions such as plumbing, carpentry, landscaping, painting, electrical repairs, and mechanical maintenance. This role also includes servicing and repairing company vehicles and forklifts to ensure safe and efficient operation.

Requirements

High School diploma or GED
1 year of work related experience
Basic knowledge of electric, plumbing, and mechanical
Capable of using power tools
Knowledge of hazardous of cleaning chemicals and supplies
Strong work ethics & is a great team player

Nice To Haves

At least 2 year of related work experience
Experience using dollies, pallet jacks and forklifts.
Previous welding, electrical, and mechanical/hydraulic repair experience
Knowledge of low or line voltage

Responsibilities

Inspect, service, and repair company vehicles and Forklifts, including brake systems, hydraulics, and engine components
Maintain maintenance logs and service records for all fleet equipment
Conduct routine inspections and diagnostics on company vehicles and forklifts to identify mechanical issues
Replace worn or damaged parts using appropriate tools and techniques
Perform preventive maintenance to ensure building operates efficiently.
Clean and repair common areas of the facility including break rooms, restrooms, stores, and warehouse
Repair building fixtures such as lights, doors, floors, and ceilings
Perform electrical troubleshooting on all facility equipment and machinery
Perform outside grounds upkeep using power tools/equipment
Operates a variety of equipment and machines including gas and arc welding, saws, and hand & electric tools, pumps, and compressors
Drive forklift truck to transport dumpsters
Work with other departments when instructed
Perform other maintenance duties as requested.
