About The Position
The Facilities Maintenance Manager at Williamsburg Pottery Factory, Inc. is a crucial role responsible for ensuring that all facilities are fully operational and that all utilities are functioning properly. This position involves overseeing the installation, repair, and maintenance of all facilities, ensuring that they meet safety and operational standards. The Facilities Maintenance Manager will conduct regular inspections of buildings, equipment, and systems to ensure operational efficiency and safety. This includes managing heating and plumbing systems to guarantee their functionality and performing general maintenance tasks such as landscaping, painting, and carpentry. In addition to hands-on maintenance work, the Facilities Maintenance Manager will assist in the development and implementation of preventative maintenance procedures. This role requires scheduling and supervising maintenance repair work, as well as checking the installation and servicing of building equipment. The manager will also be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of company premises and facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all employees and visitors. Effective communication with contractors, clients, and team members is essential to ensure that all maintenance activities are coordinated and executed efficiently. Furthermore, the manager will maintain stock levels and parts within budget, ensuring that all necessary supplies are available for maintenance tasks.
