Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, related field or equivalent experience, preferred.
  • Three to five years in Logistics/Distribution environment.
  • 3-5 years in Automation with prior warehouse maintenance experience.
  • Electro Mechanical troubleshooting skills.
  • 5S knowledge.
  • Data mining and analysis skills.
  • Project management skills.
  • Deep knowledge of/ experience in facilities engineering principles and practices.
  • Able to interact with all levels of operations and management effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Define staffing requirements, hire, develop and retain staff of maintenance technicians and group leads.
  • Develop preventive maintenance actions and schedules in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations.
  • Ensure equipment [conveyors, sorters and advance automation] and facility support systems are maintained in operation as required to support business operations in accordance with company and customer SLAs.
  • Track all work performed and spare parts utilized using appropriate tool and systems.
  • Manage proper staffing and spare parts inventories.
  • Act as liaison to corporate facilities groups and serve as primary point of contact to facility landlord(s).
  • Maintain log/database of all Service contracts for any supported equipment and/or systems (i.e., automation, powered industrial trucks, generators, HVAC, etc.)
