About The Position

The Facilities Maintenance Helper position is located in Chatsworth, CA. The working hours are Monday through Thursday, from 6:15 am to 4:45 pm. This role involves a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure the facility is well-maintained and safe for all employees and visitors.

Requirements

• Must be highly motivated and able to work independently.
• Must have effective English verbal and written communication skills.
• Must possess basic English reading skills.
• Must be organized and able to prioritize and multi-task.
• Must have knowledge of workplace safety procedures.
• Experience with industrial machinery (mills, lathes, air compressor).
• Knowledge of small tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of cleaning duties, including cleaning floors, windows, tables, chairs, and equipment in accordance with facility procedures.
• Conduct some industrial maintenance tasks such as cleaning, painting, striping, plumbing, and some electrical work.
• Perform required light maintenance including changing light bulbs, changing washers in faucets, and inspecting and cleaning grease.
• Initiate set up of tables and chairs for various functions.
• Maintain personal health and sanitation standards.
• Read and interpret safety/employment manuals and other work-related documents.
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean and orderly facility.
• Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
• Work with minimum supervision.
• Be a self-starter and stable person.
• Willing to learn and grow with the Company.
