About The Position
The Facility Maintenance Helper is a crucial role within CCI Industrial Services, responsible for ensuring the upkeep of lawns and grounds in accordance with both client and company specifications. This position is integral to maintaining the high standards of quality and safety that CCI is known for in the construction, maintenance, and industrial cleaning sectors. In this role, the Facility Maintenance Helper will be expected to perform a variety of essential duties that contribute to the overall maintenance and safety of the facility. This includes ensuring a safe work environment, complying with all established guidelines and policies, and demonstrating competency in plumbing, remodeling, and restoration tasks. The individual will communicate daily with the Carpenter or Site Supervisor regarding the status of current projects, ensuring that all work is completed to CCI's standards. Safety is paramount, and the helper will be responsible for maintaining 100% safety standards, participating in safety meetings, and addressing any potential safety concerns promptly. The position requires a self-directed individual who can work with minimal supervision and is capable of performing physical tasks in various weather conditions. The role also involves documenting any incidents or near misses that occur during work hours and adhering to a professional dress code, including the mandatory use of hard-toe safety footwear. Other duties may be assigned as necessary, making flexibility and adaptability key traits for success in this position.
