The requested position will require a wide variety of semiskilled, miscellaneous maintenance tasks or assignments.

Requirements

• High School Diploma / GED required.
• Trade/Technical School preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of industrial maintenance experience or completion of vocational industrial maintenance program.

Nice To Haves

• HVAC certification preferred.
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments.
• Ability to read and interpret detailed prints, drawings, layouts, and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety repairs related to the facility.
• Execute 3Q6S projects.
• Conduct low voltage electrical repairs, including repair/replacement of lights and circuits.
• Repair/replace plumbing fixtures such as wash basins, toilets, and water supply pipes/drains.
• Carry out minor carpentry repairs including ceiling tiles, sheetrock walls, flooring, and doors.
• Install and remove desks, shelving, cabinets, and wall hangings.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC units.
• Maintain operation of perimeter gates and fencing.
• Support the equipment maintenance team.
• Develop strategies to resolve problems with minimal downtime or cost.
• Plan scopes of work, time, and materials for assigned tasks.
• Emphasize preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of electronic controls and systems.
