Requirements

  • High School Diploma / GED Required.
  • Trade/Technical School Preferred.
  • Minimum 8 years of industrial maintenance experience or completion of vocational industrial maintenance program.

Responsibilities

  • Perform safety repairs as they relate to the facility.
  • Participate in 3Q6S Projects.
  • Conduct low voltage electrical repairs including repair/replacement of lights inside and outside of the facility, and 240/120volt circuits.
  • Repair/replace plumbing fixtures such as wash basins, toilets, and water supply pipes/drains.
  • Perform minor carpentry repairs including ceiling tiles, sheetrock walls, flooring, walkthrough doors, and roll-up doors.
  • Install and remove desks, shelving, cabinets, and wall hangings.
  • Perform PM’s and repair HVAC units for the facility and equipment (Certification Preferred).
  • Maintain operation of perimeter gates and fencing.
  • Support the equipment maintenance team.
  • Develop strategies to safely resolve problems with the least amount of downtime or cost to the company.
  • Plan the scopes of work, time, and materials required to complete tasks assigned.
  • Emphasize preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of a variety of electronic controls, systems, boards, and circuits.
  • Work with single and multi-phase electricity to 480 volts, plumbing materials and applications, HVAC systems, and a variety of welding and brazing processes.
