Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of inventory control, cycle counting, replenishment strategies.
  • Expertise with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP platforms.
  • Ability to analyze data and track KPIs to drive operational improvements.
  • Must be an advanced Microsoft Excel user.
  • Proven leadership abilities with experience in coaching, setting expectations, and fostering a culture of accountability.
  • Skilled in developing SOPs, process optimization, space planning, and seasonal readiness.
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to collaborate with multiple departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • In-depth knowledge of OSHA safety standards and budget management.
  • Strong critical thinking abilities to resolve issues, with the flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of inventory plans, ensuring the right products are in the right place at the right time, and manage replenishment strategies to support sales and seasonal needs.
  • Develop a cycle count schedule and monitor compliance of the schedule.
  • Oversee regular cycle counts and audits, resolve discrepancies, and implement corrective actions to ensure inventory accuracy and reliability.
  • Partner with various departments, including Production, Fulfillment, Purchasing, and IT, to streamline product flow and ensure alignment with operational goals.
  • Create and refine standard operating procedures to enhance efficiency, maintain consistency, and ensure high-quality standards across all inventory management activities.
  • Optimize inventory management systems, ensure data accuracy, and provide training to system users to maximize platform performance.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators, leveraging data insights to guide operational improvements.
  • Uphold OSHA safety standards and ensure the cleanliness, organization, and operational effectiveness of warehouse spaces.
  • Manage warehouse layout space optimization and pick paths to accommodate growth, seasonal variations, and changing product needs.
  • Oversee budgets related to inventory handling, staffing, and receiving operations, while implementing cost-saving initiatives.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team across two warehouse locations, driving a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
