About The Position

Provide industrial electrical maintenance support and analysis to assist Leadec in maintaining & improving the capability of machinery and equipment to achieve customer objectives.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Completion of an apprenticeship program or equivalent training and experience.
  • Three plus years of experience in Industrial HVAC Maintenance related duties.
  • EPA Universal level Certification is Required
  • Ability to troubleshoot and make repairs to HVAC system to include pumps, motors, and fans
  • Communication Skills - Ability to communicate with all levels of Leadec and customer employees.
  • Language Ability -- Talking to others to convey information effectively.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Experience with electrical systems, wiring, and equipment.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to industrial electrical work.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to work in confined spaces and at heights.
  • Experience working in industrial settings such as factories, plants, or warehouses.
  • Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Willingness to keep up with industry developments and advancements.
  • Skilled in Root Cause based maintenance practices.
  • Exceptional planning, communication, and Leadership skills.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates the values and business principles of Leadec.
  • Works safely at all times.
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in industrial settings.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Troubleshoot problems and diagnosed issues with electrical systems and equipment.
  • Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and diagrams to install and maintain electrical systems and equipment.
  • Install and maintain electrical control systems for industrial machinery and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as engineers, mechanics, and technicians, to complete projects and repairs.
  • Provide training and guidance to apprentices and other junior electricians.
  • Keep accurate records of work performed and maintain inventory of required equipment and supplies.
  • Adhering to and supporting all EHS and Quality objectives, in accordance with ISO 14001, 45001 and 9001 respectively.
  • All other duties as assigned by Leadec manager.
