About The Position

The Facilities: HVAC/R position at St. Mary's Campus involves installing, maintaining, and repairing HVACR equipment and systems under the guidance of leadership. The role includes performing minor HVACR tasks, routine maintenance, service, and repair work with direction from senior staff. The technician will assist with more complex tasks and must have a basic understanding of HVACR systems to troubleshoot minor issues.

• Minimum of 5 years of HVAC/R experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor HVACR tasks such as space environmental condition adjustments and HVACR system monitoring.
• Conduct mechanical rounds and preventive maintenance tasks on HVACR systems.
• Assist HVACR senior staff with complex tasks like air system balancing and DDC system adjustments.
• Utilize HVAC and electrical tools and equipment to troubleshoot minor HVACR problems.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance for non-essential HVACR equipment.
• Complete assigned tasks during utility/equipment shutdowns.
• Work with HVACR contractors to resolve system/equipment issues.
• Communicate service work and preventive maintenance needs to customers.
• Document all work performed and training received in the Facilities work order system.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels and adhere to purchasing procedures.
