About The Position

Hayward Holdings Inc. Headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, Hayward also has facilities in Tennessee, Arizona, and Rhode Island as well as Canada, Spain, France, Australia, and China. This role is based in North Kingstown, RI. The Facilities Helper performs maintenance service and repairs in the areas of plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering, machine servicing and knowledge of electrical safety.

Requirements

Proficient at operating facilities trash and recycling equipment
Mechanical ability
Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures
High school diploma/GED
2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area

Nice To Haves

Forklift certification a plus but not a requirement (will train)

Responsibilities

Collect all trash and recyclable materials from the manufacturing floor and other areas of the facility.
Clean and maintain safety walkways (including snow removal) and building utility areas / rooms.
Assist in overall maintenance of the facility.
Assist in the upkeep of outside grounds.
Assist in the overall maintenance and care of all safety equipment.
Promote a safe working environment, practice 5S, correct safety and facility deficiencies
Assist in Hazardous Waste Management program.
Monitor manufacturing support equipment performance as required.
Performing additional assignments as directed by the Facilities Manager
Primary hours of work are 5am – 3:30pm, four 10-hour days.
This is a flex position for work coverage on 1st and 2nd shift. When second shift coverage is vacant the Flex helper will work from 3:00 pm to 1:30 am provided 24-hour notice is given. Shift pay differentials will be provided.
