About The Position

The Facilities Group Leader provides frontline leadership for facilities maintenance and engineering operations within a large-scale automotive manufacturing environment. This role oversees daily maintenance activities, supervises skilled trades and union team members, and ensures critical building systems, utilities, and production support infrastructure operate safely and reliably. The Facilities Group Leader drives preventive maintenance execution, equipment uptime, safety compliance, and team performance while partnering closely with plant leadership to support uninterrupted manufacturing operations. This is a hands-on leadership role for an experienced maintenance supervisor who thrives in fast-paced industrial settings.

Requirements

  • Requires at least 2 years of experience in manufacturing maintenance
  • Requires 1-2 years of experience in a management role of union employees
  • Must be able to work evenings
  • Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Ability to manage as part of a larger team or manage function independently, without direct supervision
  • The ability to multi-task is a must

  • Responsible for developing and executing maintenance solutions to meet customer needs
  • Executes facilities maintenance and upkeep following predefined specifications
  • Leads, mentors, engages and develops teams to maximize their contributions, including recruiting, assessing, training, coaching, and managing performance
  • Coach employees by creating a shared understanding about what needs to be achieved and how it is to be achieved
  • Rewards and recognizes employees
  • Ensures safety and sanitation standards in operation are compliant with Aramark and client regulations
  • Identifies client needs and communicates operational progress
  • Delivers and models WEST as a foundation for excellent customer service
  • Ensure the completion and maintenance of P&L or client budget statements
  • Deliver client and company financial targets
  • Adopt all Aramark processes and systems, understand performance metrics, data, order, and inventory trends; educate teams on key levers to improve margins
