Facilities Furniture and Installation Technician, Maintenance (Full Time)

Supports hospital operations by safely transporting, assembling, installing, and maintaining furniture, fixtures, and equipment across clinical, administrative, and support areas. This role ensures proper placement and installation of FF&E and OSOI items in compliance with hospital safety standards, infection prevention practices, and facility guidelines. Will work closely with Facilities leadership, project coordinators, and clinical departments to support renovations, new construction, and day-to-day operational needs. Demonstrates the ability to deal with pressure to meet deadlines, to be accurate, and to handle constantly changing situations. Demonstrates the ability to deal with a variety of people, deal with stressful situations, and handle conflict. Will perform all job duties or job tasks as assigned. Will follow and adhere to all requirements, regulations and procedures of any licensing board or agency. Must comply with all Benefis Health System’s organization policies and procedures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver’s license required
- Bobcat and Forklift certification required within six (6) months of hire or transfer
Nice To Haves
- Experience in furniture installation, facilities support, or maintenance preferred
