We are seeking a Facilities Engineering Supervisor II, for our Greenlawn, NY campus, to lead a team of Facilities professionals to support site operations improving safety, overall site performance, meeting legal and contractual requirements and goals of the business while contributing to our mission of delivering exceptional products to our Armed Services. This will be accomplished through site infrastructure projects, continuous improvement activity, mechanical integrity programs, proactive and predictive maintenance activity, maintenance support, and proficient facility engineering applications. This position is a key member of the Facilities Leadership Team and reports to the Facilities Site Manager. The Facilities Engineering team consists of up to twelve team members of various disciplines and experience levels. The role is expected to maintain compliance and drive productivity and cost savings across the maintenance and facilities footprint. The Facilities Engineering Supervisor will also oversee development and staffing needs for the department, keeping the team ready to respond to the needs of the business and facility.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • 4+ years of facility or maintenance support experience.
  • Experience in capital and/or project execution and support.
  • Comfortable disseminating and presenting site relevant topics to leadership.
  • Proven change agent, capable of garnering support and driving results.
  • Self-aware and participative leadership style, engaging all levels of the organization.

Nice To Haves

  • Supervisory/Lead or managerial experience.
  • Knowledge of predictive maintenance processes.
  • PMP/FMP practitioner.
  • Undergraduate or advanced technical degree.
