Sodexo is seeking an experienced Facilities Operations Manager to support our facility maintenance operations at The Mercy Community in West Hartford, CT. Nestled on a serene 43-acre campus, this community is dedicated to providing a continuum of retirement living and health care services that cater to the diverse needs of its residents. With a focus on enhancing the quality of life, The Mercy Community offers both independent and assisted living options (The McAuley), as well as specialized healthcare through its renowned 200 bed skilled nursing facility - Saint Mary Home.

  • Manage day-to-day responsibilities including supporting and training team.
  • Provide overall planning, strategic facilities innovation and implementation.
  • Achieve operations and financial goals.
  • Provide direction and guidance to the facilities team.
  • Utilize strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, structural, fire protection, safety systems, civil, low voltage, demolition, architectural and energy management.
  • Provide strong strategic level Facilities Operations leadership while working with the client on all matters relating to contract and account operations.
  • Previous facilities maintenance management experience in a senior living or healthcare environment.
  • Preferably have CFC and OSHA 10 certifications.
  • Familiar with TELS as that is the work order platform utilized.
  • Strong financial acumen and budget management experience.
