About The Position

Sodexo is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to support our facility maintenance operations at Birmingham Green in Manassas, Virginia. This Maintenance Manager will oversee the facilities maintenance for three buildings on campus. Will maintain preventative maintenance schedules, and diagnosis issues with HVAC, plumbing and electric. The Facilities Manager will report to the General Manager Multi-Service and manage 5 maintenance technicians and one housekeeping supervisor. Typical shift will be 8:30am - 4:30pm Mon-Fri. This senior living community in Northern Virginia is rich in history and comprised of 3 separate Skilled & Rehab and Assisted Living Resident Homes on campus. Requirements

• 3 or more years previous facilities maintenance management experience, ideally in a senior living or healthcare environment.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical and plumbing.
• Preferably have CFC and OSHA 10 certifications.
• Familiar with TELS as that is the work order platform utilized.
• Budget management experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide strong strategic level Facilities Operations leadership while working with the client on all matters relating to contract and account operations to establish and maintain a solid and mutually beneficial business relationship.
• Manage day-to-day responsibilities including supporting and training team, providing overall planning, strategic facilities innovation and implementation, achieving operations and financial goals and providing direction and guidance to the facilities maintenance team.
• Utilize strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, structural, fire protection, safety systems, civil, low voltage, and energy management.
