About The Position

Sodexo has an exciting opportunity for a Facilities Maintenance Engineering Manager 2 supporting our school’s division at The Haverford School in Haverford, PA. Our successful candidate will manage HVAC, BAS Controls, delegation of work orders through the Keystone CMMS, be skilled at troubleshooting HVAC issues, have strong all-around experience in all skilled trades, and operate with leadership to invest in and develop our team. Our leader will assist the Director with day-to-day general maintenance work, manage the maintenance team, work with vendors, as well as provide both emergency and weather event support for our campus. A valid Driver's License and clear background is required for this position

Requirements

  • Valid Driver's License and clear background is required for this position
  • Minimum of 2 years managing and supervising Maintenance team, skilled construction trades, overall building repairs
  • 5 years of hands-on experience is preferred
  • Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
  • Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in facilities maintenance, plant operations or engineering services

Responsibilities

  • Manage fleet truck maintenance
  • Work oncall for emergency situations including weather events
  • Managing and supervising Maintenance team, skilled construction trades, overall building repairs
  • Strong working knowledge of HVAC (troubleshooting and diagnosing HVAC repairs), skilled construction trades, electrical and plumbing knowledge, and overall building repairs
  • Experienced using CMMS systems, completing work orders, conducting QA audits, assigning and following up on work orders, as well as implementing and managing a preventative maintenance program efficiently
  • Experience managing outside vendor services and procurement of repair parts and project materials
  • Extraordinary customer service, relationship building with client and staff, and effective communication skills
  • Strong leadership skills with a focus on staff development and team building while managing workforce productivity
  • Ability to send concise and effective communication via email
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, Keystone CMMS
  • The ability to train, present, interact with C Suite clients and all skilled trades
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and projects
  • Understands the importance and commits to workplace safety and Quality of Life services
