About The Position

Beaman Toyota, a part of Hudson Automotive Group is seeking a Facilities Engineer to join our growing team. This role is responsible for managing all building and maintenance contracts including but not limited to HVAC, lawn maintenance, fire extinguisher, elevator, and pest control. Requirements

  • Administrative skills for ordering supplies, handling records and scheduling maintenance
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Advanced critical thinking and problem-solving skills for fixing maintenance issues
  • Knowledge of general carpentry and repair.
  • Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
  • Ability to work without close supervision.
  • Track record of maintaining a safe, and clean facility & grounds by performing skilled tasks (i.e., plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, landscaping).
  • Experience performing general maintenance and repairs for assigned equipment and facilities including plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, heating and cooling, and other building systems.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Nice To Haves

  • General construction or prior facilities maintenance (a plus)
  • Specialized experience with plumbing, electricity, or HVAC maintenance (a plus)
