Facilities Engineer
About The Position
EQVAL Group, Inc. is a company that provides technical and engineering services to the manufacturing industry (Medical Devices, Pharmaceuticals, Biotechnologies) and other service companies. We work with an extraordinary group of professionals (employees and contractors) to accomplish the requirements established by our customers, to perform and provide a highly effective service. The Facilities Engineer will support operations in a Medical Devices manufacturing environment and is expected to perform the following activities and demonstrate the following qualifications: Please note that this is a long-term position and requires 100% on-site presence in Añasco, Puerto Rico.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial preferred).
- 3–5 years of experience in facilities and utilities preventive maintenance programs.
- Experience in Medical Device and/or Pharmaceutical manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of SAP Maintenance systems.
- Experience in cleanroom environments and critical utilities (HVAC, USP Water, Compressed Air, Oxygen/Nitrogen).
- Experience with equipment and process validation (HVAC, compressed air, chillers).
- Experience with PFMEA and CAPA.
- Ability to generate and execute validation documentation and protocols (URS, FRS, SDS, FAT/SAT/IQ/OQ/PQ).
- Strong technical writing, project management, and supervisory skills.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
