Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or engineering technology (mechanical/industrial/electrical/construction management/architecture)
  • 10+ years related work experience
  • Strong technical experience with HVAC/Boiler Systems, electrical systems, maintenance activities

Responsibilities

  • Planning, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and equipment commonly found in industrial facilities, grounds and associated services (electricity, gas, water/sewer, process utilities, building automation system, etc.)
  • Creation & alteration of AUTOCAD drawing for Facilities Department, coordination and management of small to midsize projects including development of all office furniture layouts, moves, etc. Assist with facilities management & leadership of programs and services. May complete code reviews, cost estimating, support operations and maintenance organization by assisting with the review, development of Preventative maintenance practices, facilities standards, etc.
  • Perform analyses of operational processes, resource allocation, energy use, safety processes, etc.
  • Recommend and implement improvements.
  • Manage misc. outside contractors, suppliers and vendors as assigned.
  • Coordinates internal resources and third parties/vendors for the execution of small/moderately complex projects.
  • Leads and directs the work of others.
  • Ensures that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
  • Communicates project scope and objectives to all relevant stakeholders.
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress across the interconnected projects simultaneously.
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
  • Createsand maintains comprehensive project documentation.
  • Prepare reports for upper management regarding status of projects.
  • Enhance department and organization by exploring opportunities for process improvement to add value to job accomplishments.
