About The Position
The Facilities Engineer position maintains the Casino building and grounds to provide a neat, safe and clean environment for guests and team members.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Technical or trade school certificate.
- Certification in one or more maintenance areas (i.e. electrical, plumbing).
- Valid driver’s license.
- Must obtain non-gaming license upon hire.
- Ability to handle diverse situations and/or people.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to frequently bend, stoop, twist, reach and carry thirty (30) pounds or more; occasionally reach and carry fifty (50) pounds or more.
- Sitting, standing or walking for extended periods of time.
- Potential hazards may include but not limited to: slipping and tripping.
Responsibilities
- Performs plumbing work, including but not limited to repairing leaks, faucets and drains.
- Performs damage repair such as replacing and repairing broken locks, door, windows, etc.
- Performs landscape maintenance and grounds work as needed.
- Performs preventative maintenance as needed.
- Completes and submits work orders.
- Maintain a daily log of all maintenance assignments.
- Performs all duties in a courteous and pleasant manner.
- Performs other duties as necessary and assigned.
