About The Position

Evaluate and steward discipline engineering work executed by internal teams and external contractors to ensure compliance with company specifications, engineering standards, and regulatory requirements. Coordinate and facilitate effective execution of engineering activities across a large, geographically diverse unconventional asset base. Ensure timely communication, quality control of deliverables, and alignment between engineering, operations, safety, and contractor teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent professional experience)
  • Broad understanding of engineering design standards, specifications, codes, and safety requirements
  • Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, one-line drawings, and engineering deliverables
  • Field exposure or site coordination experience strongly preferred
  • Strong organizational, communication, and coordination skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities across a large geographic footprint
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional engineering and operations teams

Nice To Haves

  • Electrical Engineering background preferred for at least one role
  • Preferred Electrical Engineer
  • Role supports a large unconventional asset base (Permian, Oklahoma, Bakken, East Texas)
  • Up to ~19,000 individual sites across multiple regions
  • Travel required, particularly for Houston-based resources
  • Ideal for early- to mid-career engineers with strong execution and coordination skills
  • Focus on deliverable quality, contractor coordination, and field execution support

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and facilitate discipline engineering work products across multiple projects and sites
  • Interface between company engineering, operations, and multiple engineering contractors
  • Track and manage engineering activities, schedules, timelines, and budgets
  • Review and comment on contractor and subcontractor engineering deliverables (drawings, documents, specifications) to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements
  • Identify and manage deviations from contract technical specifications; maintain deviation control logs per company procedures
  • Steward engineering queries, technical information requests, and Management of Change (MOC) items
  • Keep Lead Engineer or Engineering Manager informed of progress, execution issues, and risks
  • Participate in engineering reviews at contractor and subcontractor locations
  • Promote capital efficiency, quality, and consistency in engineering design
  • Coordinate field execution activities while aligning with operations schedules and safety requirements
  • Support internal engineering initiatives and continuous improvement efforts as directed
