Northrop Grumman is seeking either a Facilities Engineer Level 2 or a Principal Facilities Engineer Level 3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. The position is located in Clearfield, UT. At Northrop Grumman, you ’II have the resources, support, and team to do some of the best work of your career. This position will follow a Night shift 9/80 Schedule on Weekdays (4pm-1am).

Requirements

  • Facilities Engineer (Level 2): Bachelor’s Degree in STEM discipline with 2 years of Engineering experience in relevant fields or a Master’s degree.
  • Experience with VFD’s and Servo controlled systems.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
  • Ability to obtain Special Program Access.
  • Must have the ability to support the weekday Night Shift.
  • Principal Facilities Engineer (Level 3): Bachelor’s Degree in STEM discipline with 5 years of Engineering experience or a Master’s degree with 3 years of experience or PhD in STEM with 1 year of experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting high-rate manufacturing facilities from a maintenance function.
  • Experience with industrial automation equipment (Robots, conveyors, machining centers, etc.).
  • Troubleshooting electrical controls and 24 volt systems.
  • Knowledge of Beckhoff, Siemens, Allen Bradley, Kuka, Fanuc.
  • Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical drawings and make revisions as required.
  • Experience managing spare parts and FMEA’s.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills in managing time, projects, and resources.
  • Applied knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project).

Responsibilities

  • Will schedule contractors and provide SOW.
  • Will take ownership of equipment - writing PM plans, responsible for critical spare parts.
  • Conduct Annual E-FMEA on assigned equipment.
  • Manage time, projects, and resources effectively.
  • Communicate effectively for machine downtime.
  • Support operations IPT.
