As a Facilities Engineer you will be responsible for: Under general supervision of the Team Lead, determines and develops approach in managing High and Low Voltage Infrastructure projects for advanced aeronautical manufacturing plant; Monitors all phases of construction including design, compliance, construction, occupancy and quality control; Understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories and concepts in the field; Knowledge of design codes and standards, such as NEC, NESC, NEMA, IEEE, ANSI, IESNA and UFC’s; Ability to develop a list of codes criteria (Code Audit) to be reflected in the projects; Manage and administrate Corporate capital, Overhead and Government-funded infrastructure projects budgets; Perform analysis and design of single line diagrams, substation relaying & metering diagrams (i.e. A.C. schematic diagrams); Develop Statements of Work, cost estimates and budgets, timelines and schedules, follows-up on pre-installation activities; Communicate with other engineering disciplines, internal customers and A&E's to ensure projects and systems are cost effective, within budget, meet the desired design criteria and schedule guidelines; Prepare reports, drawings and specifications for complex projects making appropriate recommendations and design development decisions on small or large projects; Provide technical review of documents; Provide capacity/demand analysis of utility systems and planning to support growth when required; Provide analysis of critical utility systems to understand risks and develop solutions based on assessment; Provide technical support to the Facilities and Maintenance organization as a system expert over time.
