About The Position

The Facilities Management Lead provides technical leadership, operational oversight, and strategic planning for mission-critical mechanical, electrical, and infrastructure systems supporting Department of War (DoW) High Performance Computing (HPC) and data center environments. This role ensures 24/7 operational readiness of critical infrastructure including chilled water plants, HVAC systems, power distribution systems, backup generation, and building automation systems while leading facilities personnel, managing contractor performance, and supporting large-scale infrastructure modernization projects. This position serves as a primary interface between customers, engineering teams, subcontractors, and leadership to ensure facility reliability, compliance, and mission success.

Requirements

5+ years experience with facilities maintenance supporting data center or mission critical infrastructure preferred
Experience supporting High Performance Computing (HPC) or high-availability environments
Expereince leading teams, supervising contractors, and prioritizing work load
Experience supporting construction and infrastructure upgrades
Ability to speak and present in front of groups of people
