We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Facilities Engineering team as a intern. As a Facilities Engineering intern, you will gain hands-on experience managing a real-world HVAC facilities project from concept through completion. This role offers exposure to engineering design, contractor coordination, project execution, and commissioning, while also supporting facility documentation and daily operations. In this role, you will assist in designing and scoping an HVAC project, developing bid packages, coordinating with contractors, evaluating proposals, and supporting project execution through close-out. You will also support CAD documentation updates and assist the Facilities team with controls monitoring and daily operational tasks.

Requirements

  • Academic Year: Junior, Senior
  • Area of Study: Mechanical or Electrcial Engineering
  • Software Experience: MS offfice, AutoCad

Responsibilities

  • Support the full lifecycle of an HVAC facilities project, from design through commissioning and close-out
  • Assist with creating project scopes and bid packages
  • Participate in job showings with contractors and assist with bid evaluation and award recommendations
  • Support project coordination and execution activities
  • Assist with updating facilities documentation and specifications using CAD
  • Support daily facilities operations, including building controls monitoring
