About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Facilities Custodian to join our team. This position plays a key role in supporting our regulatory product safety initiatives by maintaining plant cleanliness, conducting deep cleaning, and ensuring a safe and sanitary environment throughout our facility.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and comprehend English.
• Strong reasoning and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must work safely and efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable working at heights using equipment such as scissor lifts or ladders.
• Ability to safely perform tasks in elevated areas (ceilings, rafters, platforms).

Responsibilities

• Perform daily janitorial duties in production areas, offices, and common spaces.
• Complete daily, weekly, and quarterly cleaning tasks as outlined by product safety guidelines.
• Conduct deep cleaning of production lines to meet product safety standards.
• Maintain and manage janitorial and cleaning supply inventories.
• Perform routine groundskeeping to promote a clean and safe environment.
• Inspect pest control traps weekly and report any missing or damaged traps.
• Operate the scissor lift to remove cobwebs, dust, and debris from high areas, ceilings, fans, and lighting.
• Assist with room setups for meetings and events, including cleaning before and after use.
• Use a pressure washer to clean exterior areas such as bay doors, sidewalks, and building surfaces.
• Perform light facility maintenance such as replacing light bulbs, minor touch-up painting, and reporting larger issues.
• Support the Quality Assurance Manager with product safety-related tasks.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
• Complete all assigned tasks efficiently and safely.
