Facilities Custodian (Full-time)
About The Position
We’re looking for a Facilities Custodian to help keep our workplace clean, safe, and welcoming. This hands-on role is essential to creating a positive environment for our employees and guests. If you’re dependable, proactive, and take pride in your work, we’d love to meet you! What You’ll Do Clean and sanitize common areas including floors, restrooms, kitchens, hallways, and office spaces Empty trash, recycling, and compost bins and replace liners Water and maintain indoor plants; repot as needed Assist with light maintenance tasks (replacing bulbs, assembling furniture, reporting needed repairs) Support setup and takedown for internal events and meetings Perform related duties and assist others as needed If you take pride in creating a clean and comfortable space, apply today to join New Deantronics as a Facilities Custodian!
Requirements
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Comfortable using hand tools and basic maintenance equipment
- Flexible and able to adapt to changing tasks or priorities
- General understanding of facility upkeep and basic maintenance
- Strong time management and task prioritization skills
- Clear and effective communication (verbal and written)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 18 years of age
- Strong attention to detail
Nice To Haves
- Previous custodial, janitorial, or facilities experience is a plus
