About The Position

This position will maintain the cleanliness of the facility, office, warehouse, bathrooms, conference rooms and training rooms. Will assist with events, setting up and tearing down, food deliveries, stocking drinks and supplies in the refrigerators, cabinets etc. Assisting with special projects, etc., teamwork is essential.

Requirements

Ability to read, write, and perform basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) accurately
Good interpersonal skills, reading comprehension.
Self-motivated, with the ability to work unsupervised
Ability to use efficiently various power and hand tools
Ability to drive a Forklift or the ability to be trained to competently drive a Forklift is required.
Ability to lift 50lbs
Ability to work in a team environment and take initiative
Ability to adhere to defined processes and procedures and suggest improvements
Good attendance is required
High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

Understands and comprehends industrial cleaning practices, supplies, equipment, and the ability to use them efficiently.
Disinfect common areas i.e., desks, door handles, phones, etc.
Reset and stock up all conference rooms daily
Clean and care for the facility & grounds to ensure safe and healthy maintenance
Clean restrooms and replenish supplies as needed
Clean the interior of the building including floors, carpet, rugs, windows, and walls
Collect, remove and dispose of trash/ recyclables in office building and warehouse
Dry dust and wet mop floors in office building, stairs and warehouse
Clean kitchen and cafeteria / replenish /maintain adequate supplies
Clean offices – dust and wipe down phones, keyboards, monitors, desks, etc.
Operate cardboard bailing equipment
Provide event set up and teardown, including moving furniture and modules
Report any maintenance issues or unsafe conditions to Facilities Manager promptly
Assist in performing preventative maintenance in the facility
Operation of power cleaning equipment, riding and walk-behind floor cleaning machines
Operation of a Forklift to move garbage and cardboard to compactors.
Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking lot as needed
Other duties as assigned.
Represent Schluter Systems in a professional, positive, and enthusiastic manner in all matters.
