Cornell Cooperative Extension of Niagara County has an opening for a Facilities Coordinator working 20 hours per week from the Lockport, NY office. The Facilities Coordinator will assist with cleaning and maintaining the Association’s grounds and physical facilities to ensure the safety of staff, volunteers, participants, and the public. The coordinator will follow daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules including, but not limited to, the office areas, bathrooms, storage areas and entrances. The Facilities Coordinator is also responsible for preparation of facilities for meetings, rentals, & events (including the county fair); mowing; snow removal; repairs; minor carpentry and construction projects; maintenance/repair of equipment; storing rental vehicles; set up/breakdown; and assisting with coordinating facility needs with the Facilities Manager, Executive Director and/or designated staff/volunteers. Will assist the Facilities Manager with ensuring OSHA/PESHA safety regulations are followed.
