About The Position

Keep working areas in production departments clean and in an orderly condition and maintain exterior grounds and walkways

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Forklift operation
• Operate various groundskeeping equipment such as floor sweeper, lawnmower, weed eater, snowblower, etc.
• Must be able stand continuously for 8-12 hrs
• Must be able to lift 25lbs
• Must be able to bend, twist and lift repetitively
• Ability to work in tight places
• Good hand/eye coordination and good motor skills
• Demonstrates dependability and adherence to all safety rules and regulations
• Ear and Eye protection always required in production areas
• Exposure to a noisy work environment
• Exposure to hot and humid conditions
• Exposure to extreme weather conditions
• Exposure to coolants, oils, grease and water
• Steel toe boots always required

Responsibilities

• Maintain Environmental, Health & Safety standards in the workplace
• Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and locker rooms and other work areas
• Sweep the floor
• Clean and polish furniture, lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim
• Wash walls, ceiling and woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills
• Empty wastebaskets and exterior smoking station canisters
• Replenish bathroom supplies
• Replace light bulbs
• Paint walls, trim, etc.
• Maintain exterior grounds
• Clean snow and ice from exterior walkways
