About The Position

The Facilities Coordinator is responsible for managing work tickets, organizing campus-wide orders, and ensuring quality assurance in facility operations. This role requires effective communication, time management, and the ability to work independently while coordinating with various teams to provide a first-class customer experience.

Requirements

  • Technical/Vocational high school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate Degree in a relevant engineering discipline preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills are required.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of the organization and outside contractors.

Responsibilities

  • Assists the Facilities Manager in various duties.
  • Works with Maintenance Managers to assign individuals or groups to complete work.
  • Coordinates the teamwork schedule for effective resource use and timely completion of work.
  • Coordinates with client representatives to understand their needs and schedule work accordingly.
  • Assists in the completion of building audits.
  • Manages building automation systems and preventive maintenance programs.
  • Visits job sites for work order clarification.
  • Communicates with work order requesters to determine operational safety requirements.
  • Creates and publishes work schedules and makes them available to team members and clients.
  • Coordinates and conducts scheduling meetings with maintenance teams and customers.
