About The Position

The Facilities Coordinator II is responsible for overseeing daily administrative activities related to Facilities Maintenance and Construction. This role includes supervising and training administrative support personnel, managing documentation, and serving as an information resource to ensure compliance with agency policies. The coordinator also participates in process improvement initiatives and resolves complex customer issues while maintaining accurate records and data for various projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Two years of related experience in facilities, building maintenance, or facilities construction scheduling and inventory.
  • Valid motor vehicle operator's license or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Knowledge of facilities and construction administrative practices and procedures.
  • Six years of related experience in customer relations or advanced administrative support.
  • Five years HVAC experience including building controls and/or building automation.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily administrative activities in support of Facilities Maintenance and Construction.
  • Supervise, train, and advise administrative support personnel.
  • Prepare and monitor personnel documentation and provide administrative support.
  • Represent the division on process improvement committees.
  • Participate in planning and execution of agency initiatives.
  • Resolve complex customer problems and complaints.
  • Conduct periodic audits for accuracy of customer information.
  • Compile data to prepare correspondence, forms, reports, or other documents.
  • Train others on the use of internal systems.
  • Research and gather data for special reports and complete special projects.
