About The Position

Facilities Management serves the campus community by working closely with Texas A&M University's service provider, SSC, along with other campus partners. Through these partnerships, Facilities Management supports 27-plus million square feet of campus. Facilities Management is dedicated to ensuring a safe, comfortable and functional built environment to deliver world-class learning, teaching and research. As a Facilities Coordinator I, you will do just that as you assist with the coordination of maintenance and repair related to mechanical and electrical operations, HVAC, custodial and landscaping to ensure buildings are comfortable and safe for faculty, staff, students and guests. Multiple positions are available. We need your ability to assist with routine, preventative, and planned facility maintenance issues, departmental moves, after-hours emergencies and more. You will work closely with other departments to coordinate renovation and construction projects, building access, space planning and emergency management. You will provide excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills in every aspect of your job.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the coordination of maintenance and repair related to mechanical and electrical operations, HVAC, custodial and landscaping
