About The Position

The Facilities Coordinator at the San Francisco AIDS Foundation (SFAF) plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of the organization's facilities. This position supports the Facilities Manager in managing day-to-day requests and coordinating various office services and maintenance tasks. The Facilities Coordinator is responsible for maintaining a safe and functional work environment across multiple SFAF locations, contributing to the overall mission of promoting health and wellness for communities affected by HIV.

Requirements

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Valid California Driver's License.
  • Ability to stay organized and problem solve.
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs. without assistance and up to 120 lbs. with a hand truck.
  • Ability to climb stairs.
  • High School diploma or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant work experience required.
  • Experience with OSHA and Cal/OSHA highly regarded.
  • Basic mechanical, electrical, and plumbing knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day facilities and office services support to all employees.
  • Manage facilities vendors and handle vendor payments.
  • Identify and remedy safety hazards and manage emergency supplies.
  • Assist with onboarding new employees and offboarding departing employees.
  • Complete handy person tasks at Foundation sites as needed.
  • Manage central supply and provide mailing support.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
